Weskus Marathon 2009

This past Saturday was the 11th Weskus Marathon which was run through the beautiful West Coast National Park. This year was the second consecutive year we supplied the official race t-shirt. The organisers chose a unique royal blue birds-eye fabric with a fun motive incorporating the little tortoise which has featured on all the race t-shirts.
It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the 30's. Runners wore our t-shirts for the 5K fun run, half marathon and marathon and the feedback from them was all positive. The fabric seems a bit warm in the beginning but when you start to sweat, magic happens! The wicking and breathing properties of the fabric keeps you cool while running and comfortably warm on your walk when you need a breather.

A BIG thank you to the Langebaan Strandlopers for their support. We look forward to long and happy relationship with them. The event is going from strength to strength and this year saw a 50% increase in entries. The t-shirt sales were up with the same percentage so we look forward to 2010!

Lagoonfees T-shirts

We are very excited to be associated with the first Lagoon Festival. We are offering this classic rock festival t-shirt in a variety of styles. Something to suit everybody!
We drew our inspiration from the beautiful West Coast sunsets and printed the black t-shirts with a striking orange and classic white.

Staff uniforms

This is the friendly staff of Seeskulpie Kleinkindontwikkelingsentrum in Langebaan. They chose their uniforms out of the Barron Catalogue. They've received so-o-o many compliments from parents and visitors and we are very happy to be aquainted with such a great bunch of people.

Event T-shirts (Performance fabric)

2008 GUN RUN t-shirt and 2008 KOPBEENSKLOOF TRAIL RUN t-shirt.

Both were locally manufactured from an imported 'bird's eye' polyster with excellent moisture management properties. It's amazing how the shirt comes out of even the washer dry. You'll stay dry and comfortable during your run.

We printed with plastisol inks and finished the GUN RUN T with a reflector on the back. All our performance t-shirts will carry a logo reflector on the left chest. This will ensure visibilty from oncoming traffic in low light conditions.

We managed to deliver the shirts (including all printing and reflectors) for well below the price of a blank brand name t-shirt.

Moisture Management Running Gear

We now offer GoGoWear and Real T both with MoistureTech to running clubs and event organisers. On price it competes very well with traditional cotton t-shirts but on performance it beats cotton t's hands down which means that runners will be wearing your brand or event more on the roads or in the gym. Better exposure for you!
Our MoistureTech apparel is made from fabrics that offer performance features and benefits that your old cotton T-shirts don't. Firstly, technical apparel that's worn next to your skin is designed to pull, or wick, moisture (that is, sweat) away from your body. Clothing made of cotton, by contrast, holds sweat, which can actually make you cold and miserable, even on a warm day, or can lead to severe chafing, especially under the arms or over the nipples. Technical clothing also dries quickly, a boon no matter the temperature. For beginning runners on a run/walk programme, gear made of high-tech fabrics can be particularly useful as it moves sweat off you during run portions so that you stay warm during the walk sections.
